Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. catsup
    1 c. water
    1 stalk celery and leaves, cut fine
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 big onion, diced
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 clove garlic, minced
    4 lb. spareribs
Preparation
    Cut spareribs into serving pieces.
    Dip ribs in flour and brown on all sides in 1 tablespoon fat or drippings.
    Then remove excess fat, leaving 1/4 cup.
    To this add all ingredients.
    Cover; simmer at 220\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours, turning once or twice.
