Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shredded hash browns (1/2 of 2 lb. bag)
    1/3 c. chopped onions
    4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Toss together the hash browns, onions and cheese until evenly mixed.
    Set aside.
    Mix the sour cream, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and thyme.
    Add the milk and eggs; mix well.
    Pour the liquid mixture over the potato mixture and stir until mixed.
    Pour into a greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown and bubbly, which is about 50 minutes.
    Freezes well.
    Reheat in microwave oven for \"good as first time\" leftovers.
