Caramel Oatmeal Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. oatmeal
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. butterscotch, caramel, fudge topping
    1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine 1 1/2 cup flour, sugar, soda and salt. Mix well. Add butter. Mix until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Set aside. Press mixture onto bottom of 13 X 9 pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes. Top crust with chocolate chips. Mix together topping and 1/4 cup flour until smooth. Drizzle over chocolate chips. Sprinkle with remaining oat mixture. Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
