Cracker Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 stack pkg. Ritz crackers, crushed
    2 medium bell peppers, chopped
    2 to 3 tomatoes, chopped
    4 celery stalks, chopped
    2 onions, chopped
    mayonnaise as needed
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Mix vegetables with salt and pepper.
    Cover 2-quart casserole with crackers.
    Spread vegetables over crackers.
    Spread mayonnaise over vegetables.
    Alternate layers, ending with crackers. Refrigerate overnight.
