Lemon Cream Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. crescent dinner rolls
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    approximately 1 Tbsp. lemon juice or to taste
    1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    confectioner sugar
Preparation
    Line baking dish (approximately 9 x 12-inch) with 1 package of rolls.
    Mix the next 5 ingredients; spread on crescent rolls.
    Top with 1 package of rolls.
    Beat egg white and spread over top. Sprinkle on nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 35 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle top with confectioners sugar.
    Cool and slice into squares.
