Kansas Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak (1 inch thick)
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. flour
1 c. sliced onions
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 carrot, diced
1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
Preparation

Mix together dry mustard and flour; rub into steak. Season with salt and pepper to taste; brown steak on both sides in hot fat. Place in small roaster and pour mixture of remaining ingredients over steak. Cover and bake in slow oven (325\u00b0) for about 1 1/2 hours. Serves 6.
