Rockwoods Chocolate Bits Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped nuts or raisins
1 c. flour
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 bag chocolate bits

Preparation

Soften butter.
Beat until creamy and add gradually the 2 sugars.
Beat well, until very light and fluffy.
Add well beaten egg and beat again.
Sift flour with salt and soda and add to flour mixture.
Add vanilla and nuts, then chocolate bits.
Mix thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 50 cookies.
