Pan-Fried Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. halibut
    1 c. shortening
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. cornmeal
Preparation
    Cut halibut into serving pieces.
    Heat shortening in skillet over medium heat.
    Mix salt and cornmeal; roll fish in cornmeal mixture.
    Place in hot shortening in skillet; fry for 3 minutes or until delicately browned.
