Ingredients

2 apples, cored and sliced
5 large carrots, sliced thinly
1 Tbsp. each: brown sugar and margarine
2 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a 1 1/2-quart microwave casserole. Cover with lid or vented plastic wrap.
Microwave on High about 8 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender, stirring once during cooking.
Let stand 3 minutes.
Serves 6.
