Spittini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 diced, chopped onions
    6 Tbsp. seasoned breadcrumbs
    3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 hard-boiled egg, chopped fine (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    May be served as an entree or appetizer.
    In a large skillet, brown chopped onions in oil.
    Mix browned onions in a large mixing bowl with breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt and pepper.
    Divide filling into 10 to 12 servings and spread mixture onto a 1 1/2 pound of pounded round steak or veal, cut into 10 to 12 servings (1 1/2 x 2-inches).
    Then spread mixture onto your 10 to 12 pieces of meat.
    Roll each piece with mixture inside and fasten with a wooden toothpick that has been dipped in oil. Place in baking dish and bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 6.
