Mince Meat Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. dark molasses
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 (9 oz.) pkg. mince meat
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, well beaten.
Add molasses.
Sift dry ingredients and stir into first mixture.
Add mince meat broken into fine pieces with fork.
Pour into prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
Serve with hard sauce.
