Gourmet Buffet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 stick butter
    1 onion, chopped
    4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter and cream cheese in pan carefully; stir continuously.
    Add soup and onion and heat, stirring until smooth. In a large casserole, layer half the potatoes and half the sauce; repeat.
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
