Quick Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 slices lean bacon
3 c. cheese (variety), shredded
1 c. half and half milk
1 medium onion, diced
4 large eggs
1 prepared pie crust
Preparation

Saute bacon until crispy.
Drain and reserve 1 teaspoon bacon fat to saute the diced onion in until transparent.
In blender jar, mix eggs on highest speed until fluffy.
Add half and half and blend until frothy.
In pie crust, layer onion, half of the crumbled bacon, cheese, egg mixture and remaining bacon.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until almost set.
Quiche will thicken more as it cools.
Can be used for an appetizer, brunch or a light lunch.
