Honky Ponkys(Makes 2 Packages Cocktail Rye) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or ground round
    1 lb. sweet sausage (can use hot sausage)
    1 tsp. red pepper flakes (not needed if use hot sausage)
    1/2 tsp. oregano (optional)
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut up
    2 pkg. Pepperidge cocktail rye bread
Preparation
    Cook and brown together sausage and beef.
    Drain.
    Add rest of ingredients and stir well over low heat until cheese melts. Spread on bread and freeze on a cookie sheet.
    Store in Baggies.
