Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    2 c. chopped onion
    5 potatoes, peeled and diced
    2 cans evaporated milk
    2 cans corn, undrained
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. water
    Chopped parsley
Preparation
    Chop or cut the bacon into 1/2 inch pieces and saute with the onion.
    Put the diced potatoes in water to cover and boil until done, 15-20 minutes.
    Add the bacon mixture to the undrained potatoes.
    Add the evaporated milk and the corn.
    Make a roux of the flour and water and add it to the soup to thicken.
    Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
