Mexican Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head lettuce
    1 to 2 tomatoes
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
    1 large bag tortilla chips
    1 to 2 lb. ground beef
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and season to taste.
    Set aside.
    In a large bowl, cut up lettuce and tomato.
    Add cheese, drained kidney beans, crushed chips and ground beef (after it has cooled).
    Mix well and serve.
    May serve with sour cream, avocado or picante sauce.
