Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 bay leaf
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 bay leaf
    2 tsp. chili powder
    4 dashes hot sauce
    1 c. tomato juice
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
Preparation
    Saute onion, pepper and celery in oil.
    Add flour; stir until smooth.
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, juice and seasonings.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Add shrimp.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
