Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. coconut extract
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 can (3 1/2 oz.) Angel Flake coconut
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each.
    Add extract.
    Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to the egg and sugar mixture.
    Stir in coconut.
    Bake in Bundt-tube pan (oil and flour the bottom).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
    Remove from oven.
    Prepare syrup and pour over cake while it is still hot. (Poke holes in top with fork before pouring syrup over top.)
