Company Best Beet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 cans small whole beets, cut in 1/2 or 1/4 (depending on size)
    4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. beet juice
    1 Tbsp. McCormick mixed pickling spice
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine all but the beets in large kettle. Let boil slowly for a few minutes. Add drained beets. Bring to boil again and put in sterilized jars. Seal. Will make about 6 pints.
