Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. coconut
6 oz. butterscotch chips
2 c. quick oatmeal
2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

Cream together first 5 ingredients; beat in eggs.
Sift dry ingredients and stir into first mixture.
Add last 4 ingredients and mix well.
Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet about 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Equally good omitting chips and increasing coconut to 1 cup.
