Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Add brown
    sugar
    to
    melted butter; cool.
    Add egg and vanilla to mixture and blend well.\tAdd sifted dry ingredients gradually.\tStir
    in
    chopped nuts.
    Pour mixture into 9 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cut in squares while warm.
