Pecan Tea Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Stir first 4 ingredients together; cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Combine egg and milk; add all at once to dry mixture, stirring just to moisten.
Stir in pecans. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet.
Combine 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over.
Bake at 425\u00b0 about 10 minutes.
Makes 36.
