Today'S Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
3/4 c. whole wheat bread crumbs
1/3 c. nonfat milk
1 tsp. margarine
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. parsley
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. sage
1 Tbsp. ketchup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 egg whites
2 bay leaves
Preparation

Soak bread crumbs in milk.
Do not drain.
Mix into meat.
In skillet, saute onion and pepper in butter.
Add water.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Add with meat along with remaining ingredients except bay leaves.
Mix well.
Shape into loaf.
Press bay leaves on top.
Place on rack in shallow pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
