Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef top round steak
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. au jus dried gravy mix
    1 medium onion, cut into 1/2-inch slices
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    2 medium peppers, cut into 3/4-inch strips
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Trim fat from beef and cut into thin strips.
    Heat oil in large skillet.
    Add beef and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
    Add onions and bell peppers and cook 3 to 5 minutes.
    Add water, gravy mix, salt and ginger.
    Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch and soy sauce; stir into beef mixture.
    Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
    Cook 1 minute.
    Serve over rice.
