Rice Krispie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch bits
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    3 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation
    Melt in saucepan or double boiler 6 ounces chocolate bits and 6 ounces butterscotch bits.
    While cooling, bring to boil in large saucepan 1/2 cup white corn syrup and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Remove from burner; stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3/4 cup peanut butter.
    Mix well.
    Quickly add 3 1/2 cups Rice Krispies and mix thoroughly. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Top with melted bits.
    Cool and cut into squares.
