Aunt Jenny'S Hamburg Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    2 Tbsp. onion, grated
    2 Tbsp. green pepper, grated
    1/4 c. cornmeal
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. bacon grease or Crisco
    1 1/2 c. tomatoes or sauce
Preparation
    Combine meat, onion, green pepper, cornmeal, seasonings, milk and egg.
    Mix thoroughly; make balls.
    Place on cookie sheet; bake until brown.
    Place in casserole.
    Place drippings and bacon grease in skillet.
    Heat; add flour to make paste.
    Add tomato to make gravy.
    Pour into casserole and bake at 375\u00b0
    for 45 minutes or longer.
