Crunchy Rice Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 small tart red apples, cored and chopped
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. water
3 c. cooked rice, cooled
1 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. sweet pickle relish
3/4 c. bottled Thousand Island dressing
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
Preparation

Sprinkle apples with lemon juice blended with water.
Mix with rice, celery, walnuts and relish; blend Thousand Island dressing and pepper.
Toss with rice mixture.
Serve on salad greens if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
