Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oats
    1 c. sour milk
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Soak oats in sour milk for 1 hour.
    Mix shortening, brown sugar and egg together.
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together.
    Stir in alternately with oats and milk.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
