Gallagher'S Beer Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    2 c. dark beer
    16 oz. processed cheese spread
    1/3 c. cooked, crumbled bacon
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine milk, beer and cheese spread in a medium saucepan. Stir in bacon.
    Combine flour and butter; form into a ball.
    Add butter mixture to warm milk mixture.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until butter mixture dissolves and soup is thickened. Season with salt and serve.
    Makes 6 1/2 cups.
