Basic Sweet And Sour Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice wine vinegar or white distilled vinegar
    1 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
    1/2 c. catsup
    2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
    1 c. water
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    In a saucepan over low heat, combine vinegar and brown sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring until sugar is thoroughly dissolved.
    Stir in catsup, soy sauce, water and Worcestershire sauce.
    Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Remove from heat and cool slightly.
    Pour into glass jars, seal tightly and refrigerate for up to 2 months.
