Potted Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    6 carrots, sliced
    1 green pepper, sliced
    1 onion, sliced
    1 can tomato paste
    salt and pepper to taste
    Crisco oil
Preparation
    Cover bottom of frying pan with Crisco oil.
    Cook carrots, green pepper and onion in fat for a few minutes.
    Add tomato paste with 1 can of water.
    Place beef in pan; add salt and pepper. Simmer until beef and vegetables are tender.
