Raisin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 3/4 c. water
1 1/2 c. raisins
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

In a 3-quart saucepan combine raisins, water, sugar, salt, cinnamon and vanilla.
Boil over medium heat until raisins are soft and plump.
Add cornstarch to 1/3 cup of cold water and smooth out all lumps.
Stir cornstarch into mixture until consistent.
Pour into an uncooked 9-inch pie crust.
Add top crust and bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
Cool and feast.
