Dill Casserole Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg dry yeast
    1 c cottage cheese (heat to lukewarm)
    1 T instant onion
    2 t dill weed or dill seed
    1 t salt
    2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c flour
    1/4 c warm water
    2 T sugar
    1 T butter
    1 t baking soda
    1 unbeaten egg
Preparation
    Add yeast to water.
    Combine in mixing bowl cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill, salt, baking soda, egg and yeast.
    Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition. Cover, let rise in warm place till light and double in size (approx. 1 hr).
    Stir down dough.
    Turn into a well greased 8-inch round pan that holds about 1/2 to 1 qt casserole.
    Let rise in warm place 30-40 minutes.
    Bake at 350 F for 40-50 minutes.
    Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.
    (I prefer coarse salt for this.)
