Cherry Cheese Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 container (16 oz.) small-curd cottage cheese
    1 c. whipped topping, thawed
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, combine cherry pie filling, cottage cheese, almonds and almond extract.
    Mix well.
    Fold in whipped topping; chill until ready to serve.
    Garnish with almonds or mint leaves, if desired.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
