Ingredients

1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 medium bananas
lemon juice
1 pkg. Dream Whip
Preparation

In heavy saucepan, dissolve cornstarch and salt in water. Stir in milk and egg yolks.
Over medium heat, cook until thickened and bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Add butter and vanilla.
Cool slightly.
Dip sliced bananas in lemon juice; drain.
Arrange bananas in pie shell; cover with filling.
Chill 4 hours.
Cover with Dream Whip prepared as directed. Refrigerate.
