North Carolina Sand Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. butter flavoring
2 tsp. vanilla
5 eggs
1 pkg. (6 oz.) butterscotch morsels, melted
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix well and bake in a large 9 x 12-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes. Put miniature marshmallows over top and brown lightly. You may substitute chocolate chips for butterscotch.
