Ham And Mandarin Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 clove garlic, halved
2 c. finely chopped cooked ham
1 c. thinly sliced celery
1/3 c. chopped green onions
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 can (11 oz.) mandarin orange slices, drained
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1/3 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. light cream
Preparation

Rub salad bowl with cut cloves of garlic.
Combine ham, celery, onion, walnuts and orange slices in the bowl.
Cover and chill.
Just before serving, mix the pepper, mayonnaise, cream and vinegar.
Pour over the ham mixture.
Toss until well coated. Garnish with lettuce, watercress or chopped mint.
