Chocolate Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cornstarch
    3 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. cocoa
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Blend all dry ingredients in double boiler.
    Slowly stir in milk and well beaten egg yolks.
    Cook and stir over boiling water until mixture thickens.
    Cool.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Cover with meringue; return to oven to lightly brown.
    When cool, you can garnish with chocolate sprinkles or shaved chocolate.
