Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. chili meat
3 to 4 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp. comino seed or 1 tsp. cumin
3 Tbsp. flour
1 qt. water
2 large onions
2 dried hot peppers
3 dried chili peppers
3 Tbsp. chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Fry onions in
2
tablespoons
shortening until tender. Add meat and cook until it separates.
Add water and cook over low heat.
Pour boiling water over chili peppers and let stand until skin can be
peeled
off.
Add
other ingredients except flour. Let cook about 1
hour.
Then
add flour (mixed with a little water) to thicken.\tMore
water
may be needed.
Cooked pinto beans may be added if desired.
