Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 onion, chopped
    1 small can whole corn
    1/3 c. cooking oil
    5 1/2 oz. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1 small or 2 large jalapeno peppers
Preparation
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 or 40 minutes or until done.
