Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. oleo
1 egg, unbeaten
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
Add the oleo and cut in until the consistency of corn meal.
Pour milk into the mixture slowly and add the egg.
Stir to stiffen dough.
Knead 5 times.
Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut into biscuits and bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
Brush each with melted butter before baking.
The dough can also be rolled thin, covered with sugar, cinnamon, raisins and butter.
Roll up and slice into rolls.
