1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 (No. 2) can cherries (pie filling mix)
12 oz. cream cheese
2 eggs
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. commercial sour cream
nutmeg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Put mix into shell and bake 15 minutes. Beat the cream cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla until soft and creamy.
Reduce oven to 350\u00b0.
Spoon cheese mixture on top.
Bake 30 minutes and cool.
Then spread with sour cream and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Refrigerate.
