Microwave Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 large apples (Pippin, Granny Smith or Golden Delicious)
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 1/2 c. sugar or to taste
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Peel apples and cut into bite size pieces.
    Place in 2-quart Pyrex bowl.
    Add water, lemon juice and sugar.
    Cook on High for 20 minutes.
    Stir well.
    Cook 20 minutes more.
    Apples will be transparent. Makes about 2 quarts.
