E.D.'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cups sugar
    3 cups flour
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 cups shortening (2 sticks Margarine & 1/2 cup Crisco)
    1 cup milk
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp almond extract
    3 tsp baking powder
Preparation
    Put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Beat at high speed for 5 1/2 minutes.
    Pour into greased tube pan (I use a waxed paper lining on the bottom of the pan) and bake in pre-heated 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Cool for about 10 minutes and then remove from pan onto a wire rack.
    You can use your favorite icing or dust with powdered sugar.
