Fig Conserve - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. figs, peeled
    3 lb. sugar
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped pecans
    juice and grated rind of 2 oranges
Preparation
    Cook figs
    and sugar over low heat until thick (about 1 hour). Add orange juice, raisins and pecans.
    Seal in sterilized jars.
