Broiled Mushroom Almond Salmon Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Market Day salmon steak, thawed
    1 lemon wedge
    2 tsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1/3 c. chopped mushrooms
    2 tsp. chopped parsley
    2 tsp. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Place Market Day salmon steak on a lightly oiled pan; squeeze on lemon juice.
    Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat, allowing 8 minutes cooking time per inch of thickness or until salmon steak flakes easily when tested with a fork.
    Turn salmon steak over halfway through cooking time.
    Meanwhile, in a bowl combine butter and lemon peel; stir in mushrooms, parsley and almonds.
    Spread mixture evenly over salmon.
    Broil 1 to 2 minutes longer.
