Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate or devil's food cake mix
    1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
    1 stick butter
    14 oz. caramels
    6 oz. or 1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed on package.
    Pour 1/2 of batter in 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    While cake is baking, melt together milk, caramels and butter.
    Cool and pour over first 1/2 of cake then sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans.
    Pour remaining batter over top and bake additional 20 to 25 minutes.
