Lemony Oven Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. spareribs, cut into 4 rib portions
    1 c. ketchup
    1/2 c. chili sauce
    1/3 c. light brown sugar
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
    1 c. thin onion slices
    3/4 c. thin lemon slices
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Arrange ribs in 13 1/2 x 3/4-inch baking dish.
    Roast ribs for 30 minutes; drain.
    Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0.
    In a 1-quart saucepan, stir together ketchup, chili sauce, sugar, mustard and seasonings.
    Cover; simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Pour half ketchup mixture over ribs.
    Layer with half onion and lemon slices.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Top with remaining sauce, onions and lemons. Cover with foil.
    Continue baking 30 minutes.
    Garnish with celery leaves, if desired.
    Makes 8 servings.
