Eggplant Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 eggplant
    6 tomatoes
    1 green pepper
    6 medium size onions
    2 tsp. fat
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. fat or shortening
Preparation
    Pare and slice eggplant and onion and slice the pepper.
    Brown in frying pan with vegetable fat.
    Place the brown vegetables in a greased casserole, alternating with the tomatoes (sliced).
    Season each layer with salt and pepper.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
