Molded Mandarin Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    11 oz. can mandarin oranges
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    16 oz. can whole or jellied cranberry sauce
    1/2 c. celery, finely diced
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    In a saucepan, mix gelatin, sugar and salt.
    Drain oranges. Stir syrup into gelatin mixture.
    Place over low heat.
    Stir constantly until gelatin and sugar are dissolved, then remove from heat.
    Add lemon juice, cranberry sauce, diced celery and chopped nuts.
    Arrange orange sections in mold.
    Pour mixture over. Refrigerate until firm.
    Serve plain or top with mayonnaise thinned with fruit juice.
